For sale in our Chicago showroom is this 1948 Ford Anglia. The Anglia was a car designed and sold by Ford UK as a subcompact for the smaller streets. This would have been powered by a small 0.9L inline 4-cylinder engine with some models doing the better part of 40mpg! On the other end of the spectrum is this example. The recipe for a hot rod has always been stuffing bigger motors in smaller cars, and this fits the bill. With a potent 350 cubic inch V8 bolted to a firm shifting 3-speed automatic, this Anglia is a real rocket.
Stuffing a big motor in a small car is an easy way to get a rat rod, but to make it a true hot rod there is a bit more involved. Luckily, this Anglia saw the full treatment: fresh paint, new sound system, and a full custom interior. Not to mention the Ford 9†rear end tucked under the tubbed fenders ready to take any punishment you think you can deal out. -Payment methods: ACH, wire transfer, cashier's check, credit card (3% fee), personal check (10 business days to clear), and of course - cash. PayPal not accepted.
-Signed purchase contracts, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
