This 1955 Chrysler was purchased by my father about 20 years ago and I acquired it from him a few years back. It was painted prior to his possession and his intention was to finish it, but his health isn't great. The bumpers have been re-chromed and the interior is Goers'. Many parts of the car are new or rebuilt. My old man is a stickler for original (and yes we know the vacuum hose on the brake booster is on the wrong side) The paint is definitely older. It's a good driver and every time I take it to a show people are all over it. It runs and drives great. The transmission was out of the car and rebuilt, but it still leaks when parked for a while. It needs a neutral safety switch, but there is a button in the dash to start it. There is an electric fuel pump used for priming. The mechanical pump works just fine. If you're looking at this listing then you know about these cars. There are 299 of the 1,725 built registered with the 300 Club International. I am a member and my father was too. The car is originally from the Southwest, so there was very little rust. You can see where it needs a repair and has had a patch in the right rear quarter. It has a dent. Carbs tuned and synchronizedHorn Ring is there!I have 58 photos of the vehicle including pictures of the underside. I cannot add a link to those photos, so if you'd like to see them just send me a message. Sorry for an inconvenience. This is good honest car that you can drive while you finish it or just drive the heck out of it. I had it out today and it ran really well and got a bunch of thumbs up. It's time to move it along because my parents are moving into a nursing home and they could use the extra funds.Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see the car or would like a mechanic to have a look.PayPal deposit of $1,000. Remainder will be paid within 5 business day via wire or cash. I am realistic with my reserve and know what these cars are worth. Must be picked up. I drove it to a 300 Club event a couple years ago that was 100 miles away in 90 degree heat and we had no issues. I'm not saying you should fly in and drive it home, but it's been very reliable. Good luck!

I just went through the boxes of parts that will go with the car to the winning bidder. Here's a list and I'm sure there's some other small stuff that is buried in the bottom of the boxes:3 GrillesRear View Mirror2-3 Washer Fluid BagsPeriod Correct TachWiper ArmsDistributor2 Pairs of Headlight Bezels (not bad either)Front fender trim for both sides.3 Rad Hoses (My Dad was hoarder)2 armrests for the doors and the leather to cover them. Apparently they were not installed when the interior was done.Extra Set of Front Rotors and Pads. Possibly a set of shoes for rear, but I can't identify. I also have a 54 Buick, but these appear smaller than those. There is no number on them. Condenser, Points, Door Handles, Coil, Gen Brushes, and more. Thanks for looking!
