For sale is a 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner Convertible in original condition - the car still retains its original paint and interior. Gas tank has been cleaned along with the carburetor the motor runs and it is a good solid engine - no smoke or funny noises - the dual exhaust sounds good. The engine and automatic transmission are full of the proper fluids and there are no leaks whatsoever vehicle runs and drives but will need a good going over to be road worthy. The power top received new top cylinders - top pump - cylinder fluid lines and wiring ( pictures will show it working )The brakes got a few new lines installed where needed - the brakes now have good pedal however they should be gone through before being road readyThe only other repair done to this car was a small floor pan patch behind the front seat and it was replaced by the previous owner CORRECTLY - the rest of the body is completely original - no patch panels - no bondo repairs ever - there are a few small surface rust spots on the exterior - nothing major at all .This 55 ford is complete and is missing no parts whatsoever - the interior and exterior are all original as you can see by the pictures. The door windows and back seat windows roll up and down - the door window glass has some cracks FLAT GLASS - also the windshield a one stone chip the size of a dime.Please look the pictures over very carefully - this is definitely a car that has all the possibilities of being a very valuable classic - most classic car restorers will agree that if the engine runs and the top works it would add great value to the project and save a lot of time and money when doing the restoration - this car is a very rare find in its condition - the purchaser has 1 month needed to pick up the car -- sometimes finding a shipper can be very difficult.
