1956 Ford Popular. A few trimdifferences, but this is essentially the same as a ’48 Anglia. These wereoriginally built with rust from the factory, so to find one in this conditionis remarkable, and have gotten extremely hard to find. Most have issueswith the top opening, rockers, and bottom of the “B” pillars, but not in thiscase. Additionally, the feature line near the tops of the doors don’tline up with the line on the quarters on many of these cars. Sometimesit’s a hinge problem, but many times it’s because the area behind the “A”pillar is rotted, and the entire door jamb is weak causing the door to sag.Take a close look at the pictures and you will find none of that on thisexample. If you are looking to do a pro-street project, old school gasseror hot rod it's doubtful you’ll find a better start than this. Should go withoutsaying, but this car is a NON-RUNNER, and it will need to be TRANSPORTED toyour location at your expense. I am happy to assist your transporter inloading and logistics but finding and arranging a suitable carrier is theresponsibility of the winning bidder.Study the pictures carefully and ASK ALL YOURQUESTIONS prior to purchasing.
