1959 Lincoln Continental survivor, unrestored, 37,xxx original miles on it, black exterior, black and white interior, 430 cid V8, automatic transmission, with rare direct drive rear, power windows, power back window, power seat, town and country radio with foot activated signal seek ( not working ), runs and drives beautifully. Since I have owned it I had the original carb rebuilt and stored it, new edelbrock carb with electric choke, pertronix electronic ignition, new wires/plugs/coil/cap, replaced timing chain and gears ( I removed the old nylon teeth gear set and replaced with cloyes steel double roller ), replaced water divertors, new main thermostat, removed both small thermostats in the heads, melling oil pump, removed vacuum oil pump, resealed motor with new gaskets, electric fuel pump, original fuel pump is in place for looks only, redone gas tank and new lines, transmission gone over and resealed, new power steering lines, new brakes/cylinders/lines, new exhaust tail pipes with new mufflers and resonators ( picture of underside shows old tail pipes ), rebuilt master cylinder, rebuilt the original water pump, pressure tested and cleaned the radiator and a new windshield. I installed a set of gauges so I could drive this car with out worrying. It is under the dash, I did not cut anything up. Also I T\'ed all the lines, again I did not cut any wiring or t-stat lines.Front and rear main bumpers were rechromed in the 1990\'s and it is not that nice of a job but adequate for this as a driver. Paint was buffed out and it shines great but does have minor chips and blemishes. NO RUST ever. No accidents. Everything works as it should EXCEPT the passenger vent window motor just quit, I am taking it out now to fix. Radio and antannae work when they want to ! I have done all the mechanicals to the car to make it safe and fun to drive, and it is. It could use new front end kit ( bushings only, ball joints are great ) , which I have but never installed.Cosmetically it presents very well but there is a couple minor things. The paint does have some chips. This car is original and I did not want to take away from that. The back passenger window has some minor delamination. The back window just got a crack. ( easy repair as it is available due to being flat glass ). I am missing the spare tire cover but I believe my friend has an extra in his pile of goodies. Front end kit, original carburetor, other parts are included. I bought a 1959 inspection sticker and put it on the windshield too. Car is also for sale on Philadelphia Craigslist and locally.
***Should have power vent motor back this week and I am doing cracked rear window right now***
