Up for sale is a \'61 Starliner. Overall a very good candidate for a restoration. Car is complete and will run. Body
The body has some rust in the usual spots. The driver side toe board of the floor pan will need a little bit of work. It has scale and probably has a few pin holes. The passenger side is pretty solid. The rear floor well has some scale and maybe a few pin holes. Overall the floors are in pretty good shape. Minor patching should fix it.
Driver side has a little rust in the rear of the front fender, rust in the rocker, and some rust in the quarter.
Passenger side has a little bit of rust in the quarter.
The trunk floor is thin in spots and should probably be replaced.
The rear body mounts are rusty. The fronts are in solid shape.The hood has some rust holes on the front lip just above the lip molding on the passenger side.
Engine
This car originally came with a 352. It was replaced at sometime with a 390 from a \'68 galaxie. Engine will run well. I replaced the fuel pump, cleaned the tank, and rebuilt the carb. It ran for an hour and I lost fuel pressure. I haven\'t messed with it since, but it will fire and run on external fuel. The passenger side exhaust manifold is cracked. Comes with an aluminum Edelbrock intake, 600 Holley carb, and the distrubutor has been switched over to a Pertronix electronic unit. Interior
As you can see from the pictures, the interior will need refinished and the dash is well worn.Car should probably be trailered. Its been sitting for over a year, so some seals may be leaking. It rolls well and will load easily on a trailer or transport. I have a title.Car is sold as is.I have many more pictures available.
