Upfor sale is this 1963 Buick skylark It’s a numbers matching 215 aluminum blockv8 4 barrel with a RARE 4 speed on the floor. Overall the care is in goodcondition and I will try and describe each area. If I forgot something please email withquestions. Please keep in mind that the car is 1963 not 2013 and will requiresome work to get it perfect

Paint:
Overallthe paints shines nice. It however isnot perfect. Great from 10 feet away. Thereis a few spots on the car that will need some attention or drive as is. I took pictures of the bad spots so you cansee the bubbles in the paint. The spotsare on the back quarters, fender wheels and one on the roof. It has a small area in the driver side fenderwhich you can see from the pictures. Itwill need a new front bumper as you can see from the pictures. As far as the trunk and floor boards, they are in great shape. This car spent its days in North Carolina andthe under carriage shows it. I wouldrecommend buying new window rubber seals for car as they are showing their age but a maybe it is stored inside so has not bothered me. It will also need a new trunk lock which areroughly $15.
Mechanical:
Thecar runs, drives shifts through all gears and clutch is strong. I believe the borg warner 4 speed trans hasbeen rebuilt as well as all new shift linkage.The engine is a 215 V8 that produces 200HP and weighs approximately 300 poundswhich makes manual steering effortless. It holds about 30-32lbs oil pressureonce warmed up which is good for this engine at idle. A killswitch with electric fuel pump was added to delete the mechanical pump. All lights work except for the turnsignals. I think they need reconnected in the front but havenot investigated any further. It willneed a few small things fixed. Needs wiper motor, new gas tankfloat as gauge doesn\'t work correctly. Hasmanual drum brakes and manual steering which function great. New plug wires were just installed. Has dual exhaust with glass pack mufflersthat are not too loud but give it a muscle car feel.
Suspension:
New front and rear springs, sway bar bushings, ball joints. The front steering is tight and works as itshould for a car of this year. The carhowever does have bias ply tires which is a different handling and feel vs aradial tire.
Interior:
Overallthe interior is fair shape. I say thisdue to the front seat and back seat not matching in color as the front was reupholsteredbut the back is black which needs re-stiched at the top (5-6” at the seam).Door panels are in fair conditions and carpet is new. The front seat is adjustable. All windowsglass is good and all windows wind up and down.The head liner is nice but it sags little. Hopefully I covered everything. Wouldmake a great car for cruising but needs some minor attention. Great father son project with very little to do. I am only listing the car due to garage spaceand don’t want to store it outside.
