The Dodge Polara is an automobile introduced in the United States for the 1960 model year as Dodge\'s top-of-the-line full-size car. The name Polara is a reference to the Polaris star, in a marketing attempt to appeal to the excitement surrounding the Space Race during the early 1960s. These lightweight Polaras were a force to be reckoned with both on and off the tracks back then. And this one will hold its own today. Those functional hood scoops flow air into a 4 barrel performance carb and aluminum intake manifold. Exhaust is handled efficiently all the way out to the dual exhaust in the rear. It also has a \"440\" air cleaner assembly, performance wires and ignition, chrome MOPAR valve covers, and a H.D radiator. The inside of the Polara looks like new. The interior trim is great and the dash is painted to match the aqua color of the body which makes it stunning to see. The stock looking vinyl seats are covered in aqua with a center armrest, even the headliner was color matched when it was replaced. The steering wheel and the dash puts everything at your fingertips including the correct push buttons that control the transmission. Our Polara has a great body with beautiful brightwork and chrome. The four headlights are surrounded by polished trim, shiny bumpers front and rear, and the racy looking hood scoops really set of this car.
