For sale I have a Very Rare Real1963 1/2Ford Galaxie 500 R Code 427 Car.
This car is a California Car Blackon Black with theCalifornia Black plates still on her.
These cars are very hard to find as youmay already know. This Ford runs and drives great.
The car was repainted several years agoand it was buffed out about 19 years ago so the paint is not perfect however itis very nice in my opinion.
I would rate the paint a7 out of 10 andthe interior is a 7 or 8 out of 10 in my opinion.
This car wasan old school drag race car in the mid and late 60\'s.
This Ford has been kept in the conditionit’s in to this day out of respect for that era.
The original 427 was replaced back inthe 60\'s with a more modern Side oiler 427.
This car has a Factory Ford Top Loader 4Speed in it. The rear end was replaced3 years ago with a389 Possiunit. The Air cleaner, and cast headers areoriginal.
The dual Carbs are a set of 1968 HolleyDrag race carbs. The Heads are out of a FE engine.
This car has a new 11\" Clutch withKevlar. The Original Lakewood scatter shield is still there.
The Old school Traction Master Tractionbars are still under the car from its racing days.
The ignition is Malory with a unilightmatching distributer with a matching coil and Tachometer with a rev limiterandshift light still in the car from the 60\'s.
The Custom 8 Quart Oil Pan was installedduring the cars racing days.
