Reduced for Spring and ready to sell!!

Thanks forchecking out this INSANE ride offered by M.E.S.Motorsports; where our cars are notorious for Making EveryoneStare! What we have for sale here is a highly optioned 1964 Buick Riviera that has been a 3 yearproject in the making. I must say that the end product was worth all the blood, sweat and tears as this is unlike any other Riv on the road. I would say thatcar this car is in the Restomod family but does retain a lot of originalfeatures as well. This car was built to be driven and enjoyed and has approx.1500 miles or so on it since completion. Runs great and is very reliable. Still driving on nice days so mileage will continue to go up. Here is therundown:

History – We purchased the car over 3 years ago from a guy in PA thatwas attempting to rebuild the car and lost interest. Once it arrived, we knewthat we had two choices. Resell the car at a loss as it was falselymisrepresented to us or strip it down and start all over. We chose the latter. So over 3 years and a whole boat load of money later she’s finally done and sheis sweet!

Drivetrain – The engine is a 401 Nailhead that has been totally rebuilt. We do have the specs/photos available. A note about the engine. We realize that the 401 was NOT an option in 1964, apparently only the 425 was. However, the 401 was what came with the car and it runs great so we left it alone. We weren\'t intending to build the car as an \'original\" typerestoration any way so it didn\'t bother us. It’s mated to Buicks version of the 400turbo automatic transmission. It’s a factory power steering, power brake, ACcar. Complete new wiring harness from Southern Rods. Ceramic coated long tubeheaders and new Magnaflow Hush Power mufflers(great old car sound). Edlebrock carb and aftermarketchrome breather cover. We do have the original carb and cover that goes withit. We also installed new AC made by Southern Rods here in town. It’s theirversion of Vintage Air and it works great!

Exterior – This is where a lot of time and money has been spent. Thecar had some rust when it arrived so we sent to car to our friends at Harrisand Son’s Auto Body and told them to go to work. They had the car for close toa year. They replaced the front floors pans and right rear passenger pan and didsome rear quarter work. Once the car was totally rust free, prepped and primed,we decided to go with a beautiful, custom Satin blue paint as we wanted thiscar to be different. We shaved a lot of the side moldings and trim for acleaner look. It turned out absolutely stunning and is one of the coolest paintjobs that I have ever seen. The bumpers are original and in pretty good shapebut are not new. The majority of the other exterior parts such as the grill, window moldings etc. were cleaned, polished and reused. All the jambs werepainted to match and the engine bay was blacked out.

Underneath – The underside was coated in black to give it and clean anduniform look.

Interior – Lots of new stuff here! New seat covers and seat foam. Newcarpet and floor mats. Recovered the rear deck and kick panels. Re-dyed theoriginal dash cover. Original door panels, gauges, steering wheel andheadliner. All in nice shape although the steering is showing its age and hassome minor cracking. Updated heat/AC controls. New stereo with Ipod/Aux portshidden in the cigarette lighter. Interior lights work as well!

Suspension – The Riv retains the factory power drum brakes and it stopsreally well. We rebuilt the front center link and replaced all 4 tie rod endsso the car drives straight down the road. We debated on lowering it but did notso it is still at the stock ride height. It was also just aligned as well.

Wheel/Tires – Brand new Ridler wheels. 18x8 up front and 20x9 in the rear. They are paired with new Z rated Hercules tires. 235/45/18 front and 245/45/20rear. This wheel/tire combo looks awesome!

Known issues – Couple of rock chips on the hood due to our lovely highwayconstruction here. Aforementioned steering wheel. She does drip a little fluidwhile sitting.

Title – Clean SC title.

Last minute thoughts – This Riv is unlike any other out there and was built to bedriven to cars shows and just for fun in general. It was designed by us to bedifferent and reliable. From the factory, this car came with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power driver’s seat and factory AC just to name afew. Super highly optioned for a 1964! Itruns great and looks awesome. With the updated heat/AC, power steering andbrakes you can comfortably cruise anywhere and your wife and/or girlfriend hopefullywon’t complain much! There are so many Camaro’s and GTO’s and Chevelle’s outthere but very few of these. Be different! Don’t follow the crowd, lead the wayand let them follow you!

About us - M.E.S.Motorsports, LLC was founded and started by myself and my bestfriend of almost 30 years now. While M.E.S.was “officially” put into action around 2012, it really started back in the90’s during our high school days. Even back then we were in each other’s garageevery weekend working on our cars. We have always shared the same enthusiasm forthat one thing…..Automobiles! Hot rods, classics, customs, sports cars, fast cars, loud cars, basically anything with 4wheels and an engine. For as long as I can remember we’ve always enjoyed “playing”with cars and recently decided to share our passion and creativity with othersand thus M.E.S. Motorsports, LLC was officially launched . At this time we are notlicensed car dealers but rather auto enthusiasts with a passion for buying andselling cars to and from other auto enthusiasts and collectors. Our goal is to sell cars that you canactually get into and drive anywhere! Webelieve that cars are actually meant to be driven on the road and not juststored. A lot of the cars that we find are from individuals who are simply not usingthem anymore or that started restoring them but never finished. Some cars mayjust need some cleaning and a tune up while other may need paint or finishwork. Whatever the case is, we try to address any issues and get them roadworthy. We hate to see any car just sitting, rotting or not being used. Webelieve that everyone out there should have the car of their dreams and thatthey should be able to drive it anywhere they want to go!
