History: Original build sheet is to Noland Chevy, Charles Town, W VA. I purchased in VA (1996) with 74,117 miles. Used as show/weekend car. Was featured in Lowrider Magazine 1999. I joined military in 2000 and stored at my parents’ house in VA. Drove to new house in SC after moving back to US, then drove to current home in NC. I start it once a week and charge battery but that’s it…I drive it in and out of garage and up and down street but never out of the neighborhood. I love this car and have known it doesn’t have a place in my life anymore but couldn’t force myself to sell it until now. I have moved on to racing and don’t have the time or money for both. Now, I have to choose between a new engine in the race-car or a paint job on this one, and sadly it’s an easy choice and have to let this one go. I dumped a ton of time and money into it this year, but it’s time for a new owner. I’ve been torn between keeping it the same House of Kolor 3-stage paint or going back to a regular base/clear paint job, but it only makes sense for you to get it at a lower price than others and make that decision yourself. All hydraulic suspension components have been removed and front/rear shocks installed. Currently at 85,028 original/documented miles. All pictures are from this last Sunday (October 15). Needs: Dash pad (dried and cracked) / Rear/drivers side quarter panel repair (hit & run in front of my house) / Sand & Paint (some surface rust bubbling starting to show, dimple in front/passenger fender, areas crack/peeling from age and possibly too much paint built up; weird paint spots in pics are where I’ve sprayed or brushed paint in/over rough areas to try and keep it sealed; I’ve also always wanted trunk painted to match; door jambs look good if you want to keep same color) / fuel tank sending unit (starting to read incorrect level on dash) / bumpers re-chromed / better window weather-stripping (installed front doors but wasn’t happy w design of set so didn’t install rear).Other things that never bothered me: Original high/low dash fan switch only has high (low was honestly pointless) / produced with A/C but was removed before Ibought it for show and increased performance / windshield wiper fluid squirter in-op / original clock in-op / other than that, I did a complete functions check on all switches and lights and all are either new or still working great.
