This car is simply amazing. Talk about cruising the streets and gettingheads to turn. Very rare anddesirable. Unlike the more common Chevelle,the Skylark is the refined cousin that came standard with all the bells andwhistles. But don’t let its refinementfool you. Under the hood is a powerful340 v8 with 375 foot pounds of torque.That’s raw, badass, old-school American power at the back wheels. Want to bark the tires? No problem.When you sit at a stop light and rev the engine, the whole car respondsanticipating you releasing the yokes we call brakes. She sports a new cross over exhaust whichsounds like Angels crying tears of joy as the deep rumbling, throaty if youwill, sound chases away rice burners.
But you say, “It’s too much power! How can I drive such aspecimen of American ingenuity?” Well,like I said before, this lady is refined.She sports factory air, power brakes, and power steering. The 2 Speed automatic transmission was sentoff to Jasper for service and is still under warranty. (If you don’t know whoor what Jasper is, this may not be the car for you) She was built to cruise the interstate at 80MPH and does not blink an eye when you have to get around some Toyota Priusblocking the view.
