My car is a 1966 Aztec Bronze (one year only factory color) SS 396 Chevelle, matching numbers as far as I have been able to see and photograph the numbers. I am told it is a matching numbers car and that I am the third owner. I bought the car in California and believe it to be a California car. It is VIN #138..... It is all original except for working Vintage A/C. Was ordered with Pwr Steering, bench seat , power glide. I have original paper work on the car showing the man who ordered it that way. Interior is two tone fawn. It has the knee knocker tach. The car had a sympathetic restoration about 15 years ago. It got carpet and a respray. There has never been any rust and all the sheet metal is original as far as I can tell. The numbers still show on the quarter panels. This car has always been garaged obviously. The car starts right up, idles on electric choke and runs great. Transmission is great. It does not have overheating issues. Runs around 185 and holds 40 pounds of oil pressure. The car is super clean, even underneath. The floor pans look like new (see pics) and the paint is glossy and super nice with no chips or dings. It needs nothing and is good to go. Odometer shows 6,000 miles. Probably not actual. I like this car. But do not have the room any longer for this toy. I have lots of photos. Call me with questions. I forgot to to use some of the picture spaces for the underneath of the car. I do have pictures of the underneath if any one would like to see the solid bottom of this car.
