I have for sale my 1966 Chevy Impala. It is a great 2 doorcoupe body style that is becoming harder and harder to find. I bought this carwith hopes and dreams to make it a weekend cruiser but my plans have changed.This car is in pretty solid shape aside from a few spots on the floor andaround the rear glass and trunk lid. I had started making plans to restore andI have the repair panel for the rear window. The current engine has a knock andneeds to be either rebuilt or replaced but the 350 trans is still good to go. Ihad plans to do a LS swap so I never got the engine repaired or thoroughlychecked out. It could be a simple fix not sure. I am basically selling the bodyand trans for this price. Either way this car is well worth the time andinvestment for a true impala lover. Below is a list of the good and bad of thisclassic ride

Has some rust but is very fixable
Engine knocking but nuildable
Will need tires

Factory AC Car
Originally a V8 car. Once had 327 call outs on fenders
Highly desirable 2 door coupe style
All of the trim is present
Front seat is in perfect condition
Good 350 trans
This car is not perfect but for the asking price it is wellworth it. I am positive that a very small investment into paint, body work andengine work would give you a car worth 20-25k or more. Before I decided to sellI had found a guy with the whole trunk section for sale. He still has it if youare interested and he is very reasonable. This car would be great for a personwho’s family had one as a child, a great gift for a husband or wife forcruise-in date nights, great father son project, someone who had one as ateenager, or even a person who wants a car from their birth year, the list goeson and on. These cars are cool no matter what age you may be and they are onlygetting cooler. I really do not have to sell the car so please no ridiculousoffers. I feel as though the car is priced reasonably compared to other impalasin similar condition. I am pretty firm on the price will negotiate withinreason. If I am not able to get close to my asking price I am going to investthe few thousand needed to bring this ride back to life.
