This is a nice clean 1966 low mileage Cutlass convertible car. Needs nothing to be adriver and enjoy as is. It is a very well optioned car having power steering, power brakes, power windows, power driver seat, power (vacuum) trunk release, power top, power antenna, tilt steering column, Air Conditioning, floor mountedshift with console and bucket seats. Everything works except the airconditioning which is provided but is removed from the vehicle. The compressorturns freely and all controls work, but it does not blow cold air, the heatercore is new, and the heater works very well. A well maintained car with manyreceipts forwork since 1976.

Exterior. The body has never had rust. Factory colors were red with redinterior. It was painted in 2009 and is still presentable, good shine, seepictures. There was no body rust on this vehicle when it was painted and stillremains as such having been stored in a heated garage since I have ownedit. The chrome and stainless, as well asall the bright work is good, way above average, with a good shine. Pot metal isnot pitted. The top is in very good condition, from Robbins Top Co. a wellknown good quality top. The power top works well, the top motor has been replaced.

Interior is in great condition and appears very nice and clean (seephotos). The interior was done several years ago but remains in great condition. The seats are comfortable, the carpet is new, and floor mats are original andnice. The console is clean and pretty, the vacuum gauge works well. The shifterworks fine. All interior lights work well. Glove box light and cigarette lighter are inoperable. Thepower windows work fine. Power driver seat works. Trunk release located in glove boxworks fine. Purchased and installed an original 1966 radio correct for thisvehicle.

Drivetrain. Original 330ci engine with 4bbl carburetor and Jetawaytransmission. The engine starts quickly and runs good, it has had an electronicignition installed in place of the points system as well as alternator and battery. The transmission works well. The rear end is great, it has had new bearings and seals, receipt is there, universal joints replaced. The brakes are good. Radiator is newer replaced several years ago with few miles since. Noproblems with the way it runs or drives, according to the receipts the frontsuspension and steering components have been mostly replaced. I had it checkedand aligned. New rear air shocks andfour new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. New Edelbrock fourbarrel carburetor (have original as well).

This car was built in Freemont CA, sold in Palo Alto CA, the originaldealer tag trim is still present. The same family has owned since1976, up until I bought it, took good care of the car and kept it inside. It isnot a show car, but is in good condition as is. I am proud to drive it and goto the cruises, and you will be too. Everything works good, except asmentioned. Wipers, back up lights, turn signals (they don\'t cancel) emergencybrake (has an emergency brake warning light), work fine. Tilt column is tight. It just doesn\'t have major problems anywhere.

As the pictures show in the engine compartment, it is not detailed, butis all there and well maintained. I am well pleased with the car, and wouldexpect you will be also. It is a greatcruiser.
