Up for sale 1966 gto phs documented comes with completely rebuilt 71 ys 400 new rod and mainbearings complete rotating assembly balanced with new Arp rod bolts shot peened with vitron rear main seal new melling oil pump new 268 extreme energy comp cam lifters new valve springs elongated push rod holes in the heads casting number 62
Also comes with new ram air exhaust manifolds ($795) from ram air restorations and flanges and bolt kit new head pipes also included but no pictured is a good turbo 400 transmission and new engine harness from M&H and also a new under dash harness from M&H.
It also has a complete new front end with all new a arm bushings on both sides new ball joints and new tie rod ends, idler arm and new shocks. Restored Rally 2 s with new rings, centers lug nuts and 225/70/14 Cooper Cobra Radials.
New brakesall the way around including wheel cylinders. New rear axle seals on the factory 308 posi trac. New heater core installed also included is the complete power steering pump and all pulleys.
This is a very straight GTO with new quarter patch professionally welded in it also has new front pans welded (very nice job). The car needs a half a trunk pan and a fender bottom on one side and about a 10 inch section of the weather strip metal replaced on the tail light panel. This car has had only one repaint since new
I also have the rocker trim thats nice basically all it needs to be on the road. Has a new 2500 converter, new mini torque starter and a fan shroud. Original radiator that is newly restored with new hoses. Most of the hard work has been done.
I\'ve owned this car for six years and it\'s been inside since I\'ve owned it. Oh yea, it\'s also missing the rear seat. It will make a really nice car just ready to do something else. The car has some pretty rare options such as heavy duty frame, power antenna, map lights, power brakes, power steering, map lights, posi, factory air and miscellaneous lighting options under hood and trunk light.
