Survivor 76k Original Miles 327 V8 Power Steering and Brakes
Beautiful one owner car, 76k miles. California Black platecar.
Was built in Los Angeles, Caprice 2 door Custom Coupe, Paintcode S-2 Sierra Fawn- Black vinyl top.
All Tinted glass, Interior trim 817- A tuxedo black,
Dealer installed aftermarket AC, upgraded to R134. Ac Works
Caprice was introduced as aluxurytrim packagefor the Impala.
This car was sold new inSanta Maria CA; the buyer was a classy lady. It was used to drive aroundlocally, the hair dresser, and the grocery store. The rear seat looks like itnever was used.
The trunk wasn’t really usedeither, splatter paint looks like the day it left the factory.
Car has always been garaged,she stopped driving it in 2011. I bought it Jan 2018.
The original 327 ran reallygood, good compression and oil pressure it have rebuilt camel hump heads. Itook the engine out of the car to repaint and reseal it.
I never seen an oil panlooks that looks brand new on an old car, new no dents, even if wasn’tnecessary I replaced the water pump, oil pump, timing chain and all the freezeplugs.
Th400 auto trans I replacedfilter and oil, shifts perfect.
New 2 ¼ dual exhaust system with flow masters.
New radiator, all the hosesin the engine bay is new, new battery, Pertronix electronic ignition.
New 15 “ steelies with BFG tires,15x6 front with 235 60 15 15x8 rear with 275 60 15. New dog dish hub caps.
Car had been sitting for 7years in a garage when I got it, I replaced all wheel cylinders, new brakeshoes, new brakes hoses, new wheel bearings.
This car never had any rust,there have been touch ups in the paint on both sides. I would guess its old parkingdamages. Paint isn’t perfect, and it has small nicks on both sides.
The bench seat has smallworn areas on the driver’s side, rest of the interior looks bran new, doorpanels are beautiful. And it has the old lady car smell.
Clean CA title in my name.
