1967 Impala SS Convertible
Oklahoma barn find, 3 owner Car--2nd owner purchased the car in the \"late 60\'s\" for his wife, turned the odometer in 1981 (fueled 5 gal on 6/20/81 at 0.9 miles), Sunday rides through 1990 (fueled 5.3 gal on 8/18/1990 at 1,039 miles), stored and had Oklahoma registeration through 2000, 3rd owner (me) purchased the car in 2015; current odometer ~3,600 miles.
The paint was resprayed in the original color, I was told, sometime in the 70\'s; I had the car Professionally polished when purchased, and as the pictures show, the car looks nice. It is a DRIVER, and as such, has some chips, scuffs, spidering, etc. as would be expected from a cleaned up 35+ year paint job. Top is white, clean, undamaged, works; but honestly, it\'s never up here in sunny Southern California...
Interior redone. Seat covers, seat foam, door panels, upgraded carpet, reconditioned console (plastic repair), and Steele rubber & felt. Dash/pillar metal all clean, some rust, some scrapes. Dash pad very nice w/o any cracks or damage.
Stance/suspension/wheels. Ridetech CoilOver System Includes HQ Series front CoilOvers, front upper & lower StrongArms, rear upper & lower StrongArms, HQ Series rear shocks, rear coil springs and front & rear MuscleBars. Yes, the stance is \'right\' and has a great ride! Coyes wheels 18x8 Front, 20x10 Rear, with Diamond Back redline tires Nitto tires.
Drivetrain/mechanicals. Never got to the LS & big disk brakes. So, all original 327/TH400/12 bolt mechanically gone over; but, shows it\'s age with oil leaks and and blow by though still gets ~12mpg. AC blows cool not cold, brakes solid, steering box responsive with all linkage replaced (less pitman arm).
\"Bad Ass\" and \"bitch\'n\" are the typical comments on almost every ride. Only selling due to changes in personal circumstances.
