1967 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible.
I am selling my 67 Fairlane. I am not a dealer, broker, flipper, consignor! I can answerany question because i have owned and maintained it. All paperwork is clear, in hand, in my name and ready for immediate transfer.
This is a southern car free from salt and badly damamged roads. It is always garaged. I do drive it and consider it abeautiful example of a 67 Fairlane. The car starts and drives like it should and is a pleasure to drive whether onthe interstate cruising at 75 or a backroad country drive taking your time. The automatic transmission shifts withno issues and the brakes stop the car just fine. The car will start without issues, even if left for months on end anddoes not have a hot start issue when warm. All the lights and directions work as well. The gauge cluster is fully operational including the gas gauge, speedo, odo. The wipers work and the power top works as well. The top was replaced aprox 10 years ago and has no rips or tears. Radio works as well.The seat upolstry and the carpet and door panels are original as well. The doors open and close from the outside and inside and do not drop or sag when opened. Windows roll up and down.The original 289 runs real nice and it has a 4 barrel Edelbrock 1406 with electric choke. It has been maintained as needed my entire very long ownership. The transmission is rebuilt and has under 500 miles on it.I would also like to mention that the car never overheats or runs hot and does not have a hot start issue, and i am in central Florida with summer temps heat index always around 100.It has the original spare and jack and it is still in its original location with the original vinyl trunk mat from the factory.The floors are rock solid. The car handles 4 adults without sagging or rubbing thanks to an extra leaf added in the rear. The car has air shocks but are not needed, i keep 20 lbs of pressure in them.The car has close to 12 years of family memories and good times, It is now time for another family to do the same.
