Up for auction 1967 Ford GalaxieI\'ve had this car for 16 years and in the time I\'ve owned it done a number of upgrades but it\' time to move on to a new project.
Body is in great shape without rust. I have replaced the frame rails about ten years ago. At the same time I had the 289 small block rebuilt and I believe I had it bored .30 over. I also added disc brakes up front a ford 8.8 rear end with posi and 4.10 gears. I installed a stereo with new speakers and 2 subs in the truck with an amp and tastefully finished off the truck with a black felt and beauty panel to give a nice clean look. (I will add a photo soon). The hood was done with a fiberglass scoop and the plan was to set up for ram air but never got that far. The hole is in the hood and wouldn\'t take much to finish. I installed air shocks in the rear springs to give the car a little more aggressive stance. The aluminum center console was used so I didn\' have to alter the stock dash. This car has been a blast to own but just doesn\' get used as much as it should and so it\'s time to let it go. With it not being used much in the last couple of years there are a few things it will need before it\' a daily driver again as it was for me years ago. As mentioned car has a 289 with maybe 5,000 since rebuilt, 3 speed automatic transmission. Aluminum radiator and tranny cooler. Also set up with electric fan to keep engine cool and electric fuel pump.
  1. Brakes work but need to be freshened up.
  2. Will need new tires (tires and rims are off the car because I was going to replace them, them decided I was going to sell)
  3. One rim has a pretty good dent on the lip (rims are crager chrome)
  4. Steering box is a bit sloppy, I was going to do power steering but didn\' have the right gearbox and haven\' gotten all the new stuff needed. (Car does run and drive and stop)
  5. Hood latches but needs the secondary safety latch that holds it tight installed.

I\'ve done my best to outline the good as well as the things that need a little work. This would be a great first car for someone to learn basic automotive skills on or a full restoration project with no hard stuff to do. Interior is in great shape with the major blemishes being what you can see in the pictures and the carpet discoloring. I had replaced it but it\'s lost its dark black color. Otherwise interior is original and in very good shape. Car was also fitted with dual exhaust and has a great sound to it.
Please ask any and all questions, I apologize for the car being dirty in the pictures but hadn\'t plan to sell when I parked it last fall. I may be able to deliver depending on where you live. Also I may be interested in trading depending on what you have. I am always interested on old COE trucks or vehicles out of the ordinary, it\'s worth asking all I can say is no.
Sorry for the long description but I want the next owner of this car to know exactly what they are getting!! I also have the original build sheet for the car I found while I had the seats and carpet out. I will include with the sale. Kind of neat to have.
