Selling an all original 1967 Pontiac Tempest Custom 2-door coupe, believed to be numbers matching, daily driver that could be easily cloned into a GTO. Car runs and drives well, with no smoke from the exhaust, always garage kept since 2007. I had planned to restore it to its original condition but never had the time to do so.
- History: Bought in 2007 on Ebay (car was in California - then shipped to Texas) because the car is almost a duplicate of the first new car I had ever purchased in August 1967 (just as I was leaving the US Air Force to pursue a civilian career). Ebay seller in 2007 stated the car (which was manufactured in Fremont, CA) had always been in California except for a few trips to Lake Tahoe.
- Improvements: I immediately made significant ($6,365) repairs/upgrades to include; new brakes, new front end parts & alignment, new exhaust manifolds gasket, new oil & transmission pan gasket, rear main seal, new carburetor, new headlight & tail light,repair wiper switch, etc, etc. Four new tires in 2017, battery is fairly new. I Invested $13,000 plus in the car but it just sits in the garage so decided to part with it.
- Known Defects: Only known defects are; rust at the base of the windshield and rear window, rust on trunk floor, no A/C, a minor oil leak, and the radio has not been working recently.

Paypal is only acceptable for the $1000 deposit within 24 hours to hold the car but not
acceptable for the remaining purchase price of the car. Other than the deposit, the
remaining balance due on the purchase price must be paid by cash, wire transfer or
cashiers check from local Houston bank branch. Car and clean title in hand will be
available for pickup or buyer arranged delivery once payment in full has been made and cleared my bank.
