1968Chevrolet Camaro SS RS Convertible. This is a true SS with the original numbersmatching 350 engine.
ThisCamaro is for sale or trade (trade even, up or down). If you have trade offers, please realisticallyvalue your trade as my car is worth more than the asking price. I’m selling because I have purchased another convertibleand only desire to keep one convertible at this time. I’m interested in modern cars andclassics. I’m particularly fond of 911s,69 Camaro coupes, Nova and Chevelle, but would consider many others. Please don’t be offended if I pass on a tradeoffer.
If you have been looking for a meticulouslyrotisserie restored true SS/RS Camaro convertible, this is your car. Over $65,000 in restoration receipts – frameoff/nuts & bolts restoration that was completed in mid-2015. This is a highly detailed restoration and EVERYTINGon this car works 100% without exception – every light, every gauge (includingthe tic-toc-tach) all work as they did from the factory. The ClassicAir blows cold and the heat blowshot. The RS package is 100% functionaland correct – restored with the vacuum operated hideaway headlights just likethe original 68s.
The list of new parts is extensiveand the build took multiple years to complete. This Camaro is as close to showroom as they come – not many 1968s canboost that. Is it perfect? No, but it is darn close. I can only detect one small nick in the paintwhich is the size of a pinhead. Allgaps are spot on – less the driver’s side lower door gap which could useadjustment to be perfect (I’m nitpicking here) – the paint is virtually flawless. The undercarriage is beautiful and fully painted, cleared and undercoated wherenecessary. The rear-end is a 12 bolt positive traction that has been restored(it’s a 69 rear-end and geared high for highway cruising).
ThisCamaro was appraised in February 2017 for $75,800 – read the appraisal regardingthe outstanding condition of this vehicle.

The engine is original to the car and has theappropriate markings that verify it’s the vin matching original 350ci. Only high quality components were utilizedthroughout the build – new full pans, fenders, hood, etc. Doors and cowl are original. This build was for a show car quality restorationwith ZERO rust issues, including those nasty bubbles seen in manyclassics. Transmission is a freshlybuilt TH400 and carb is a 750 Quadrajet.Power steering and brakes work perfect.
