I have been restoring this car but am being relocated, and cannot take it with me, so must sell it. It is disassembled - trunk, hood, front fenders and doors removed in preparation to bead blast the inner fender wells, bottom and firewall - and mostly stripped to bare metal.
I have spent nearly $7,000 on the car, the engine and trans, and new/replacement parts, plus \'Eliminator\' add-ons. There are too many new parts to list all, but here are the biggies I have purchased.:
- 351 Cleveland 2V on an engine stand (Engine stand goes with sale)
- Automatic transmission (Matched pair - purchased the engine and transmission together)
- Complete dual exhaust with mufflers (Purchased with the engine/transmission)
- New nickel/chrome front and rear bumpers from \'The Bumper Boyz\' in California
- New floor pans from Laurel Mountain Mustangs
- New battery box and supports from Mustangs Unlimited
- New right front inner fender sheetmetal (goes with the battery box)
- 4 NEW B.F. Goodrich 14\" white letter radials. Mounted on:
- Correct rally wheels for an Eliminator
- New trim rings and center caps for an Eliminator
- Complete new front suspensioncomponents from Mustangs Unlimited
- Spring compressor for the front coil springs goes with the front suspension
- Replacement front axles
- New front axle bearings
- New front rotors, calipers and pads from Mustangs Unlimited
- New rear brake drums and shoes fromMustangs Unlimited
- New steering rack from Mustangs Unlimited
- New chrome power brake master cylinder
- New fuel tank with float and sending unit
- New trunk mat (Original checkerboard style)
- Replacement dashboard and trim pieces in burgundy
- New headliner in burgundy to match new dashboard
- New door and trunk lock set
- Extra set of door panels in black
- Complete new interior screw set
- Extra grill for the air intake area in front of the windshield
- Extra front valance
- Center console
All of these parts are boxed up in my basement, and you can see in the pictures, they take up an entire wall of my basement.
I would REALLY like to find someone who wants to continue the restoration, since I have put so much time, effort (and $$$) into it, and I do not have time to complete it nor sell off all the parts, so it is an all-or-nothing sale.
Feel free to ask questions.
