Up for sale we have a real treat for all you Muscle Car fans! This is a 1969 Plymouth Hemi Road Runner recreation. This car has had one of the finest restoration we\'ve ever seen. From top to bottom every aspect of this car is gorgeous. The looks will knock your eyes out, and the drivetrain will leave you in a cloud of smoke! In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this Plymouth, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don\'t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that\'s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the \'69. We have pictures and documentation from the professional restoration that was done. This car has excellent fit of the doors, hood, and trunk with all the gaps being near perfect. Take a close look down the sides and you will be mesmerized by how straight it is. Everything is covered in the Orange Paint that\'s accented by the White Side stripes. Take the time to really inspect and appreciate how slick this car is. The Black Vinyl top is in excellent condition and is a gorgeous complement along with Black Inlay in the hood. All the glass is phenomenal and appears to have been changed along with the seals and felts. Also, the stainless appears to be replaced along with the bumpers, and it\'s all in great condition. To finish off the look it\'s sitting on a set of Magnum 500 Wheels with Firestone Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Hemi. As you open the door you\'ll see it\'s done in the classic black that flows perfectly with the exterior scheme. All the doors panels have been replaced and the window cranks and door handles look like new. Of course, this car comes with bucket seats and console that houses the Four Speed Shifter. The dash has had a new pad installed, and all the gauges are working. Yes, it does have the Beep Beep horn and stock style steering wheel. A new headliner was installed along with the carpet. Another thing you\'ll notice is that the Console Lights, Dome light, and even the under-dash light is working. In the trunk, you will find the Road Runner floors mats, a trunk mat, and Jack with Spare.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood, it features a fresh 426 Hemi Crate Engine. It comes with an Aluminum Intake with the Dual Edelbrock Carbs. This Hemi is dressed with chrome valve covers and the stock style breather. For sound, you\'ll hear the big tube headers rumble through the 2 \" Pipes and stock style mufflers with the Chrome Tips. As I said earlier this is a four-speed car, but better than that it\'s mated to the Sure Grip Dana 60 Rear End with 4.10 gears. For driver options, it has Power Steering with Disc Brakes up front. Now when you look under it you are sure to be impressed. It was built right with the reinforced K Member, Hemi Torque Boxes, and Hemi Rear Spring Plate. The frame and floors are detailed in body color and a new gas tank with new lines has been installed.
This car did start life as a Satellite and that\'s why we are selling it to be a Road Runner Clone. Mileage
Unless the car is advertised as an original Mileage car do not assume that the Mileage/Odometer reading is the actual mileage. It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures. IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.
Terms & Conditions
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
