This is a solid American muscle car! In the three years i have owned it i have: - Seats re-upholstered with quality white vinyl by a professional
- Replaced steering column with a complete rebuilt OEM unit
- Installed new wood steering wheel, replaced front brake pads and calipers
- Installed new american racing torque thrust wheels
- New carpet kit
- New interior door and quarter trim panels
- New floor sound deaden-er (floor was solid)
- New Pontiac floor mats
- New windshield
- New battery
- New console lid
- Replaced what guides were needed in all the windows
- Lubed and adjusted everything (now all roll up easily)
- Seat belts in backseat (for kids)
The engine and transmission run good and start every time. There are some drips underneath as would be expected from an older vehicle but not enough to have to add any fluids so i have not got to that. The carburetor was new when i got it and the electric choke works well. There is very little rust on this car, it lived in dry climates its whole life. Original A/C car but some components have been removed. The paint and chrome are driver quality with no dents. The paint on the hood has a couple small imperfections that will need to be addressed eventually but overall the blue shines well and gets a lot of thumbs up. And head turns!
