1970 Chevelle SS clone. I am the third owner of this car, originally a california car then sold and moved to Montana and has been here since. Second owner has owned it for a very long time and was his high school car in the eighties. He drove it until 2004 and then parked it his garage for ten years without moving. I purchased this car from him with intensions of restoring it and 3 years later i havnt touched it so i am going to let it go. I did put a battery in it and added new gas and it fired right up and drives and shifts through all the gears and brakes stop the car. With that being said it will need work to be a driver. engine is a 400 small block i was told out of a truck and trans is a turbo 350, 10 bolt rearend, power drum brakes and power steering, factory a/c car (parts missing on a/c). Car is a malibu but it is a factory bucket seat and center console car, (console is missing but factory brackets are on the floor)Car is originally gold with black interior and only the outside has one repaint to this white in the eighties, all the jambs are still original paint. All original panels still intact. The floors and trunk and whole underside of car door jambs under doors ect are rust and scale free. You will not find a better car to build it is in amazing condition underneath. no patches in original quarters, What you see is what you get nothing hiding here. No cracking bondo or evidence of filler but does have some small bumbs and bruises nothing major.Very little rust in car on outer skin, will need small patches to fix and is just on exterior behind wheels and is only the outer panel inner structure is mint. I honestly have not seen a car this solid in years i thought they were all gone. This is a keeper when done. Everything works on car except heater fan even the dome light and door buzzer. Dash radio hole is NOT cut and dash itself is nice just needs a pad. The second owner told me it had a big block in it for many years before it blew up and he installed the 400 and has big block front coil springs, but he gave me the original small block springs as well and are included. Wheels are old school centerline lookalikes and in great shape (tires are shot). Overall you will not find a better 1970 chevelle to restore this is truley a rare find these days and i know ill never be able to find another one this clean. It will need full restore to be show worthy but it will not need a bunch of metal work and replacement panels. I shouldnt be letting this go but it deserves to be with someone who will fix it up to its previous glory. Reserve is what im in the car plus 1k, and yes i paid up to get this one the guy i bought it from and i both knew what it was worth in this condition so i didnt steal it and neither will you but you wont find another like this in this price range. If your wanting a 70 chevelle to restore this is it and these bring 30-60k restored as a clone ss depending on how good of work you do. Good luck. RARE FIND!
