Selling a fully restored 1970Olds 442. Numbers matching car, 4 speed, 455cu engine. Frame off restorationdone in 2005, driven very little since then.Engine was professionally rebuilt, bored .060 over. 4 speed transmission and Hurst shifter werealso professionally rebuilt. Rear end has 3:42 gears with posi-track. New quarterpanels, front fenders and lower door skins. New interior including headliner,carpet, seat covers, door panels, rear dash, new front windshield. Front dashis not cracked or broken, very clean. New vinyl top.
Vehicle is not perfect, butwill show well at local car shows.Original AM radio does not work, but who wants to listen to that whenyou have the big block dual exhaust to listen to. Horn does not work either.Has power steering, but manual front disk brakes, no A/C. Odometer reads about73,000, but I cannot validate the accuracy.
Tires are Firestone FireHawk500 P225/70 R15, Battery was new in 2016.
Included are a shop manualand car cover. Also included are a pairof 442 logo front fender covers that drape over the front fenders when workingon the engine. Trunk compartment is very clean, no rust.
