For sale my 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and 340 Cuda tribute. This is a numbers matching car in its original lime green color- repainted a few years back. It has always been in Southern California and is absolutely rust free and has extensive service and ownership history that comes with the car. Original dealer purchase order and build sheet and a complete binder outlining everything that has been done to the car over many years and four total owners. Paint has some chips and blemishes as it is an older repaint. There is a small chip on the rear valance and a two cracks/imperfections on the driver side quarter panel on the ridge of the car and by the rear side light. They are not rust related but instead look to be from paint shrinking and cracking. Hard to see in photos but wanted to point them out. Thousands invested including an upgraded 727 automatic, custom offset wheels that fit nicely on newer BF Goodrich tires with plenty of tread.New interior seats and carpets including an immaculate trunk detail. All trim is in "like new" condition. Car drives great. I drive this car at distance 100-200 mile weekend trips without any problems, NO overheating or smoking. AC car that works, although I have to re-charge it fairly regularly. This is an original blue plate California car which means it has always been cared for, registered and serviced to stay on the road. Very rare to see an old Mopar like this on the road with original blue plates. Car comes with an amazing set of service records and books, and nice/powerful bluetooth stereo system. Great cruiser and lots of "thumbs up" responses on every drive. Here are the things it needs: 1. Rattle in passenger side window regulator (common). Had repaired the drivers side recently then the passenger side started making noise a couple weeks later. Regulator bushings probably need replacement but window rolls up down like it supposed to, just something loose in there making some noise when you drive. 2. The aforementioned paint imperfections on driver's side and rear valance. 3. Transmission linkage needs slight adjustment to ensure it has more positive location in park/drive etc..a little sloppy but completely operable. I don't think about it now, but when I first bought the car it took some getting used to. 4. Dash has an aftermarket cap that is closely matched to green interior. I have never removed it but dash pads are a few hundred dollars. A 47 year old car so it is encouraged that you have it inspected but I have done everything to describe the Barracuda as accurately as possible. This is a used car, no warranty expressed, written or implied. I wish I could keep this car but have to sell due to to job change and starting a new business. This is a turn-key cruiser that you can make into a show winner with just a few minor improvements. Please email me with any questions.
