You are looking at a VERY original 1970 Lemon Twist (FY1) Plymouth“BS23H” Rally Dash, Slap Stick Automatic, Cuda with a 3.23 Sure Grip RearEnd. Miles are original. This Cuda has beenfully documented by its 3 owners as well as Galen Govier. It is STUNNING with all numbers matching. Mostevery part that came with this car is still on it right down to the voltageregulator in the engine bay. Engine,Trans, Rear End, Radiator, Heads, Exhaust Manifolds, Rally Dash, Rally Wheels,Rear End and Interior are original to this car and still on it. Every part still retains thecorrect casting dates and part numbers consistent with a “Matching NumbersCar”. Not just the Engine, Trans and Rear end but the WHOLE CARE is Numbers Matching.This is a rare and unmolestedCuda.
Miles on the car are documented and original. Build Sheet has been well preserved and oneof the best I have ever seen. Theoriginal delivery documents and the owner’s manual are still in the original dealerplastic sleeve. This Cuda was optionedwith the Grand Coupe Package. Grand Coupe Cuda’s are RARE. The original AM/8Track Radio is the only thing that does not work on this car but it’s stillthere right where the factory put it.
The car was given a cosmetic restoration (Paint, Vinyl Top,Legendary Interior) back in 2009 but has never been completelydisassembled. The suspension drives likefactory original because it has never been blown apart. Doors have never been apart so the windowsroll up and down just like factory. The Enginewas given a hone, rings and bearings 6000 miles ago so the engine still retainsit’s standard bore, original pistons, original rods and crank. The 727Transmission and the rear end were freshened up at the same time as the engine.It starts like new even in the coldest of weather and runs very strong and smooth.I would not hesitate in driving this carfrom cost to coast. You will be hardpressed to find a better example of a Real Cuda that has been as welldocumented and preserved as this one.
