1970 Plymouth Roadrunner. Originally a 383car, it now has a date-correct 440HP Block that has been decked, line bored, and sonic tested with a balanced 512 cubic inch stroker kit from 440 Source. Work that was recently done includes:Rebuilt 727 Torqueflight transmission with a new 3,000 Hughes Performance Stall.
Borgeson Steering box which is lighter than the original and provides a modern feel to the steering.
TTI Headers.
3:55 Suregrip gearing.
New Headliner.
Fresh BF Goodrich tires on new Coker Magnum 500 Wheels.
All new tie-rods and steering linkages.
800cfm Edelbrock carb on an Edelbrock Performer intake.
Aluminum 440 Source Heads.
Functioning Arr-Grabber hood.This is a true RM-code Roadrunner that is a really fun car to drive. I stress that it is a driver (not a perfect show car) and shows some signs of an older restoration. The gearing allows for great acceleration while still allowing the car to cruise down the interstate. Car makes a lot of power and torque....35mph burnouts are not a problem!
