Vehicle Description The New Auto Toy Store is proud to present this rare 1970 Plymouth Superbird, this car started out a real 440 6pack car, its now period correct 426 Hemi with the pistol grip 4 speed transmission. The story on this particular car goes like this, the car had engine trouble in the early 70s and the original owner of the car took the car to the local dealer to see if it could be fixed, after many months sitting at the dealership, the dealer told the owner they couldnt get another 440 6pack motor to replace the one it came with, now here comes the lucky part, the local chrysler dealer was able to get a new period date correct 426 HEMI for a replacement motor then the client had them replace the automatic transmission to the 4 speed pistol grip it currently has. The car even has a sticker in the engine bay showing the 426 Hemi meets 1970 emissions. we do have the original build sheet for the car showing it was a 440 6pack auto car. if you are looking for a great deal on a Hemi Superbird dont let this car pass you by.Thanks for looking!!!Custom Tailored Financing available for ALL CREDIT SITUATIONS !!!!
