'71 Dodge Demon. 318, Original B-5 blue car. California plates with current tags, and clean title in my name. Fires right up and drives down the road. Suspension is stock, with all the castle nuts and cotter pins in place. New idler arm. Air shocks in rear, looks to have all the lines intact, but haven't tried to inflate. This was a factory 3 speed manual on the column, but now has a automatic 904 with a B&M shifter. Still has the manual bracket and brake pedal. Nice vinylfront bucket seats, with a cloth black rear seat that is in good shape. Has a 8-3/4 rear with 11" drums. Does have a few dings and dents, but very solid. Not a rust bucket! Some body work was started years ago by previous owner, with installing patch panels from a doner, in the lower quarters, but will still need to have some detail work. Frame rails are all solid no rust. The left front frame rail looks to have been torn from hitting something or had the tow hook rip it a bit. Crossmember is missing a bolt due to some previous cutting of tunnel, but plenty strong for the stock 318 that's in there. Left fender has a quarter size hole down low. Needs tlc here and there, but there's no bondo, just been sprayed flat black. Body does not have any blisters or bubbles. The front and rear glass rails are solid with all the trim clips. Needs to have the lighting wiring and dash harness hooked up. Gas tank is clean, but will need another tank strap. (only has one holding tank in place). Could use a inspection cover on the trans. Includes another complete dash out of a Dart 340 car. New spare tire well was installed in the trunk. All the headliner bows, seat belts, including the shoulder strap, both sun visors, all the window trim, headlight buckets with bulb ring, all there and in good shape. Tires are like new. Glass is all original and in good shape, but could use a new windshield, due to a small crack in the corner.
The non matching 318 is stock, and runs fine. No smoke. Has a new water pump, and new starter. 26'' Radiator with 7 blade fan. Exhaust sounds good with compact cherry bomb mufflers. New balanced driveline with new u-joints. Manual brakes and steering. The drivers door latch sticks. Hood scoops are mounted in the factory location on the hood, but does not have the intake hole drilled though hood. Also have a complete and correct power brake setup. This is a rare Mopar A-body and only made for 2 years. 1971 and 1972. Not many around!I can send more photo's to those interested. Call or text is ok on weekends and M-F from 3-8pm pacific time..Dave 209-855-1201
