Probably one of the very last few Plymouth Barracuda convertiblesever built by Chrysler, built on June 22, 1971. Originallya 1971 B5 blue with blue interior 318 automatic Barracuda convertible. Now fitted with a massive crate 426 8 bbl HEMI engine and 4 speed Hurst pistol grip. Highly desirable B5 blue and black color combination, premium leather interior, rallye gauges (clock works!), 3 speaker dash with no cracks, power convertible black top, black Hemi billboard stripe, rear wing, factory light package, heavy duty cooling, LH/RH painted racing mirrors, 8 3/4 sure grip with 3:55 gears, A/C air conditioning added (needs freon charge), 3 speed wipers, 15' rallye wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires, modern power front disc brake booster, aftermarket radio with upgraded speakers in dash and amplifierin trunk. New aftermarket parts along with NOS and used original equipment parts used recently and during the restoration.

The parts shown in the last photo(70-71 black hemi valve covers and breather, pcv, grommets, 1971 front elastomeric bumper, Mopar am/fm thumbwheel radio, replica spare tire aircanister)along with a full set of used GoodYear Polyglas tires will go with the car only at the Buy it Now Price. I also have around $20k worth of E and B body parts and tools that I can sell to the new owner at a significantly discounted package price if interested (not included in the sale).

An originalB5 blue Hemi Cuda convertible sold for $3.5 Million in 2014. You can get this one for considerably less and actually enjoy driving it guilt free! It was a nicely optioned original 1971 B5 Barracuda convertible even before the upgrades and restoration. Please look at the fender tag for the factory options before the car was restored and upgraded to its current condition.

Car was restored about 8 years ago but still looks very respectable even after being driven and enjoyed around 7000 miles since the restoration. The undercarriageis also painted B5 blue. It is a very nice restored car but not perfect. Very nice at local shows and gets a ton of attention and thumbs up. Car handles well for a 47 year old car. The 426 HEMI engine runs well, but the rear main engine seal leaks oil. The brakes need adjusting, cars stops very hard with wheels locking sometimes. Some paint chips and minor scrapes. Interior looks very nice, some button caps missing on the leather seats. Door panels and carpet look great, no speaker holes cuts or tears, nice Cuda floor mats. Power top with glass back window works great. Please contact me with all your questions and come and inspect the car or have it inspected before purchase.
