1972 Oldsmobile CutlassSupreme Convertible with a documented 27K actual miles. It was one-family owned from 1972 -2008. It sold new at Tunmore Oldsmobile in Buffalo,New York, in June 1972 and then went to Florida where it was garaged1974-2008. There are numerous ownerdocuments and Florida State Inspection records documenting low mileage. A title change in 2008 shows 25,557 actualmiles. Guy I bought it from believed he was the second owner. He provided a letter stating original lowmileage.

The car has theoriginal strong matching numbers 350 V8, automatic with console shift, sportsteering wheel, tilt column, bucket seats, power steering, power front discbrakes, power top, deluxe light group, sport mirrors, and painted SS II rallywheels. It also has a modern“Oldsmobile” AM FM stereo radio with input line for an I Pod or MP3 player, andpainted SS2 Rally Wheels. The second owner bought the car out of storage anddid mechanical restoration consisting of new brakes and master cylinder, new powertop motor, transmission was pulled and resealed, all new hoses, new aluminizeddual exhaust system, new gas tank and sending unit, and radiator cleanout. He stated the car was stripped to bare metal, there was no panel or rust repair needed, and it was repainted Viking Blue witha clear coat. The car also has newcarpet, new front bucket seat covers, new top with glass back window, and newBFG tires. There are receipts for mostof this over the past 3-5 years.

The car drives verywell and quiet, with no squeaks, creaks, or rattles. The dash and originalglass is pristine. It still has theoriginal rear GM spiral shock absorbers (Photo 22). The map light and seat belt warningbuzzer/dash light still work. The paintis very very nice but there is a flaw on top of passenger front fender (someclear drops or blotches – see Photo 21), and there are a few stone chips fromuse. There is still some of the matchingViking blue paint if you want to correct this. The underside is very clean, with a mix of original paint and some undercoating.

This is about as closeas you can get to a new 1972 Cutlass convertible. It has always been maintainedand cherished, and has won awards at local shows. They are only low mileageonce guys. Selling only because I justbought a low mileage 455 Cutlass convertible to restore. Reserve is very reasonable, especiallycompared to cars in the “classified” ads.No warranty and car is sold as is. Buyer must arrange and pay for hisown shipping – I will assist with pickup. Car is located in Edmond, OK 73025. Checkmy Ebay feedback and thanks for viewing this auction.
