This 45 year old 1972 Pontiac Ventura II is a true survivor car and a pieceof GM history. It has a very solid body as itspent most of it\'s life insouthernWest Virginiabefore coming to Ohio about 20 years ago.Always stored indoors and never driven during the Ohio winters. These PontiacVentura II\'s with original Pontiac 350 motor\'s and 350 trans are gettingextremely rare and hard to find in originalrestorable condition.

Themotor runs awesome and strong. The transmission was totally rebuiltabout 16 years ago by AAMCO and has less that 2k miles on the rebuild. It hasdeveloped a minor leak from sitting in my garage, which may be a line or sealnot sure. It has a dual exhaustthat sounds aggressive. I was told buthave not confirmed that the 350 motor\'s top endwas rebuilt at some pointand has a mild cam. It surely runs strong, has phenomenal oilpressure,and starts easily with no smoking. Interior will require a totalrework if wanting the OEM look.

This would make a nice winter project and would requirelittle sheetmetal replacement work as the floors and trunk are in very good shape with only minor holesas shown in the picture. The body panels are fairly straight, and very solidwithoverall 45 year old paint oxidation, somelight surface rust, and minorrust through in typical 70\'s old school GM areas as shown in pictures. Theclassic Pontiac split grille is intact which is rare within itself as most ofthese got destroyed early on.
