1978 Ford Fairmont Futura 2 dr. V-8 car. Low mileage vehicle with good body and frame. The frame, floorboards, and trunk pan are all in great shape and not rust out. The is one rust spot as shown in the pics., it is on the driver side where the special trim is. The vinyl top is also in great shape. It is equipped with the 302 cu.in. V-8, 2 bbl. carb., automatic and air conditioning. Did not try out the A/C and I believe it is still on R12 refrigerant. The bad on the car is that the wind caught the hood, slammed back down on the support rod and bent the hood in that spot. The support rod has been changed to a later model that connects at the front of the hood. There is the rust spot on the trim on the drivers side, there are rock chips on the front of the hood. There is a dent by the passenger rear tire. On the interior, it needs new carpet, the headliner sags, and the drivers seat material is getting thin. There may be a few other minor scratches or dents, but a great body otherwise. I drive the car around locally, so it can be driven as is. New spark plugs and wires and filters. Buyer is responsible for picking up vehicle or making arrangements for shipping. Buyer to pick up car or have shipper pick up car within 10 days. Great car for the money. Happy bidding.
