1979 Chevy LUV 4x4.First time this truck has been available for sale since original owner.See copy of original bill of sale in listing.Here is the history.Bought new at Chevy dealer in Houtzdale PA.Dealership is long gone as with most small GM dealers.Unfortunately the owner passed away in 1981 and left it to his son.It has not seen a winter since 1981.Driven a total of just over 90000 miles as the son had other vehicles to drive.Mostly all original paint.I did mig weld a couple small pieces in the bed floor,the biggest was maybe 1\"x2\"\".I had the inside of the bed repainted.The decals are original but showing their age with cracking etc.The large 4x4 decal that came on the hood deteriorated badly so the previous owner removed it,has a spot on the hood where he rubbed a little too hard on the paint.All 5 wheels have been powdercoated silver and 5 new matching tires.I replaced all 4 shocks,they were all original and also the master cylinder,also was original.Clutch has been replaced at some point.Horn,wipers,emergency brake and warning light,fuel gauge,speedometer,all the stuff that usually doesn\'t work in an old vehicle,works as it should.The truck runs and drives like new and 4x4,including low range,works fine.Frame and undercarraige in good shape.This truck was Zeibarted when new and you can still see some of it under the doors and underhood.Interior is nice,a carpet has been added over the factory rubber mat,not the nicest job.All interior and dome lights working.This is probably one of the nicest 4x4 LUV trucks available.It\'s not perfect.But I have not seen a nicer one in many years.That is obviously not the right VIN but I will supply it to serious buyers.I have been through this truck from one end to the other and will gladly answer your questions,or if you would like to see something specific please call me 716-378-9669..I am often working in the shop and can\'t hear the phone but I will return your call.Please serious US buyers only!
