Perfect for spring and cruise in season. A 1979 TA 2w87 up for your consideration. The Trans Am is one cool machine. Takes me back to watching the Bandit out run \"ole\" sheriff Bufford T. Justice. Every time i drive it, i find myself singing, \"Keep your foot hard on the petal, son never mind those brakes, let it all hang out cause we gotta load to make\". Very fun driver with loads of poncho power. The Trans AM is a Bandit tribute, but with a resto-mod flare.
The Trans Am is a 1979 however it does have a 1977 front bumper. Its not for the purist but it is for the person who loves these iconic cars but desires much more power and at a fraction of the ever increasing prices of these cars. The Pontiac 400, bored.30 has power all day. Motor is built with Aluminum roller rockers, aluminum intake with port and polished 6X heads,amild\"Comp Cam\". Feeding the motor is a freshly rebuilt 750 Holley with electric choke (have video of running sounds awesome).MSD electric ignition. New headers and New black Pontiac Aluminum valve covers. The motor stays cool with a new aluminum radiator. Motor was reported to me by builder to have 10.8 to 1 compression. Torque is pushed to the back tire by a 400 TH automatic transmission with extra capacity aluminum pan and stall. The motor was completely rebuilt during the months of January-February of 2018 by Graham Performance Engines in Toledo Ohio (Have the receipts). The rebuilt motor and built Transmission have very very low miles. Its went through the break in period. Oil changed and test drove a few times, each time I take it out it does not disappoint. I have since taken the Trans Am to a few cruise in\'s and the car does draw a crowd.
This Trans Am is one that would make \"The Bandit\" proud. The paint is not perfect but shines and presents very well, Painted 2 years ago w/clear coat base coat and does have the gold pin striping. Hood is lacking the Phoenix but dare to be different. Looks really good, compliments and thumbs up everywhere you go. The interior is in good shape. Dash, headliner looks nice, seats in good shape, rug appears new, instruments work, only temp gauge doesn\'t work, power widows work, even the in-dash clock works. Lights, blinkers, brake lights work. Car does have a CD player in the glove box and a head unit in dash with ipod capabilities. The Trans AM has brand new 17’’x 9\" YearOne gold snowflakes w/new center caps& lugs. These sweet wheels wear new Nitto NT 555 Tires, that are literally brand new. 255/45/17 on front and 255/50/17 on back. Looks awesome. Car does have a sun/moon roof, looks like a dealership installation(cannot verify) does not leak. Car also has a fiberglass hood, with the T/A 6.6 and gold pin-striping. Looks like an l/88 corvette hood (not a shaker hood) but resembles one. It gives this Trans Am a very aggressive front look. While it very much looks like a shaker hood its different enough to give the car a unique presence.
Metal on the car in great shape, no rust. Trunk has sound deadening mat and is very solid as well as frame rails and floors. If your looking for a fun turn the key and go Trans AM and Look really cool with loads of power feel free to bid but bid to win. Reserve reasonable and low for the money spent on the Trans AM. (I currently do have the 79-81 Aluminum Turbo Wheels with like new tires. But currently wheels and tires for sale on Ebay). These wheels could be made available with car. Some pictures may have the aluminum black wheels on the Trans Am but the Trans Am will come with the 17\" yearone gold snowflake wheels. Buyer is responsible for shipping, and see payment instructions, please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. Car is sold as is and has no warranties, inspections encouraged before auction is completed.
