This car was purchased from an auto auction in California asa donation car due to the death of the owner.I flew out and drove this car back to Missouri, with no mechanicalissues. Unfortunately, I was not awarethat California changes title types on all donated cars to JUNK status, andrequires a full inspection of the vehicle to change it back to a regulartitle. I was able to get the fullinspections completed in Missouri, but California would not honor them. Missouri issued a regular title for the vehiclein 2016, with a prior salvage status noted on it.
As you can see in the pics, the car is in very goodcondition. The engine runs great, andhas a small transmission leak. Recentwork completed: New muffler, newermatching tires, fresh oil change, new wiper blades, new fuel pump, and a tune-up(new cap and rotor, wires, and plugs).It will need a new battery.
The driver seat was re-upholstered in 2010. The air suspension works properly. I put insurance on this and drove it all overtown, at least 100 miles with no major issues.The instrument dash cluster works, but the mileage shows ERROR on thedisplay. I am not sure what is needed tocorrect this issue.
My intent was to restore this car, but just never got aroundto it.
