For sale is a 1989 Trans Am. This car is best classified as a \"driver.\" The body has 130,000 miles on it. It was always stored winters and therefore is in good condition. The paint was done prior to my ownership and is starting to show its initial quality. By no means is it bad, it has been buffed and waxed, however the bumpers have some chips and cracks. Like I said it\'s a driver and not having to worry about show quality paint makes that easier. The motorvation for this car comes from a 427 SBC based on a Dart 400 block with an eagle rotating assembly put together by Terrys Engines. The entire valvetrain is from Comp cams, heads are aluminum from Trick flow, and the intake is an aluminum Weiand. Capping it off is a Milodon 6qt oil pan, billet specialties aluminum valve covers, and a Holley 750cfm carb. Exhaust runs through Headman headers into 3in exhaust and out a Flowmaster muffler. The motor has less than 3000 miles on it. Transmission is the stock 700R4 and was gone through 2 yrs ago by Automatic Motors. The rear end is also the stock unit filled with highway gears (2.83 I believe), limited slip differential with fresh fluid and seals. Stopping power comes from factory power disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. All linings are good. Covering up the brakes are 16in snowflake wheels wrapped in 245/50R16 Cooper Zeon tires, freshly rotated. Altogether a nice clean car. The interior is in good shape with all trim pieces present and no torn upholstery. While I could definitely stick more money into this car and make it even better and more enjoyable, it\'s time for someone else to enjoy it as is or take it to that next level whether it be at the drag strip or on the autocross.
