1990 Cadillac Brougham 5.0L V8 RWD with 35,*** miles. I bought this car about9months ago from the original owner’s daughter and have since been bringing itback to amazing working order and appearance condition. My wife and I just drove the car about 600miles over the Thanksgiving holiday to see family and it performed incrediblywell. With that being said, I will continue to drive the car and the mileagewill continue to increase with time. This is not a daily driver but I do enjoy driving it at least a day each week.
No tears in theleather interior. If a part was overly aged, it was replaced. If a part wasn\'treplaced it was because it was inspected and serviced. Not a single bitof sag or separation in the headliner. The car hasn\'t had a professionaldetail yet, only basic cleaning by myself.Certain imperfections could still come off with a proper cleaning. Vehicle still located in city where it was originally purchased in 1990.
Zero Leaks, Zero Mechanical Issues
I can personally say I\'ve had the car up to 90mph and experienced onlysmooth shifting and a very smooth ride - no air coming in through the seams norwas there wobble or vibrations of any sort.
The following parts were replaced in the last6 months:- Platinum Spark Plugs
- Spark Plug Wires
- PCV Valve
- Distributor Cap and Rotor Button
- Fuel Filter
- Air Filter
- Battery
- Serpentine Belt
- Water Pump
- Front Brake Rotors, Pads and Wheel Bearings (inner and outer)
- New Cat Back Exhaust System (Stock)
- New set of stock size power touring tires with 1.5 inch white wall(approx.750 miles on tires)
- A/C just serviced and working (upgraded to R-134a)
- Windshield wiper control module and motor replaced
The following parts were replaced in the last few months with authentic partsdue to the colors not being vibrant (I\'m happy to include all of the originalparts if you would like):- Hood Ornament (NOS)
- Roof Crest Set (NOS)
- Rear Quarter Panel Script Set (NOS)
- Trunk Lock Flipper and Wreath (NOS)
- Trunk Lid \'Cadillac\' script and \'5.0 Liter\' Badgesincluded but notyet put on vehicle. I can do so if you would like.
I also replaced the entire 12 piece plastic and chrome exteriortrim/moulding set with a set in very good condition from a donor car out of Nevada.This car is ready for a cross country trip! Engine oil and filter changed at35k miles. Transmission gasket, oil and filter changed at 35k miles. Reardifferential oil and gasket changed at 35k miles. Silver Frost paint with Silver Frost Trim onSilver Metallic Roofongray leather. Features include trumpet horn (train sound), power locks (allwork), power windows (all work), power mirrors (all work), leather seats ,twilight sentinel auto lights (senses when the headlights need to come on),opera lamps, rear reading lights, front reading lights, burl wood trim, powerdriver and passenger seats with recliner, power trunk lid pull down, electroniclevel control, digital instrument cluster, rear window defogger, power trunklid release, cruise control, tilt and telescoping wheel, illuminated entrysystem, soft ray glass, digital outside temperature display, lamp monitors(front and rear), low fuel warning indicator, cornering lights, front seatstorage armrest and illuminated vanity mirrors (high and low).Included is a set of original NOS 23k gold plated key blanks as well asoriginal keys (2 sets each). Also, the original window sticker, spare tire withjack, manual, fitted car cover, and keyed hub cap remover are all included.
I am a very honest seller and person so the following are the bad:
1. Radio won\'t turn on and antenna won\'t raise. I am very confidentthe power amp needs replaced.
2. When the original owner was on hospice she signed the car over to herdaughter whom I purchased it from. Unfortunately, when she signed it overshe marked the title as the odometer hadrolled over. This isincorrect, however, now that she has passed there is no way to reverse this\'Odometer Exempt\' mark on the title. The vehicle manual indicates this aswill theoriginal owner\'s daughter which I\'d be happy to put you incontactwith.
3. The only adverse item on this vehicle\'s CARFAX is that it was involved ina minor incident in 2012 where someone hit the rear end of the car. Asyou probably know, this car was built like a tank and this incident had verylittle asthetic affect on the car.Please see have done my best to describe thecar accurately and completely. However,the car is 27 years old and I cannot guarantee that I have not missed somethingin regards to the car\'s appearance or other, thus why I haveincluded somany images. This car is truly one of the last great American luxury cars. Both rear doors have their own ashtrays and Cadillac lighters while the front has a single ashtray and lighter, none of the lighters have ever been used. The seats are like sitting on a plush couch and the ride is like that of a boat on smooth water. Really a fun car that gets a lot of looks and questions.
Only 21,529 Broughams were made in1990. Very few had thespecific features of this Brougham to includethe specific color combination (Silver Frost w/ Silver Metallic roof option)and leather seating option without thed\'Elegance package.
