Driven only 2500 miles a year! I drive it once a week, so the mileage may be slightly more when it is sold.Note: There have been only 4 owners as the two prior to me traded the car back and forth a couple of times.
Just what is the V4P trailer towing package and why is it so desirable? First off the regular Fleetwood Brougham\'s equipment is virtually the same as a Roadmaster towing package car! But the Fleetwood towing package is a step up in strength, performance and durability in almost every way from the Roadmaster towing package! Only 3% of the 1994-1996 Fleetwoods had this towing package, only a handful. The most important aspect is the transmission is built to be more durable and to have increased longevity. The shifts are more positive. The cooling system and A/C system is more efficient. The rear gear ratio is 3:42 for performance and hill climbing. The PCM tune is more aggressive. And the suspension is more heavy duty. It is virtually like a Caprice cop car in many performance aspects. Now, many people think that having a dealer installed hitch constitutes a towing package. A hitch can be put on any car! In fact the towing package does NOT include a hitch at all from the factory. But it does include wiring for a trailer. I am sure those in the know were attracted by the V4P in the listing title as these cars have quite a cult following.
Incidentally, this car has never had a hitch mounted on it, and it is never towed anything!

EVERYTHING works. Some of the modifications I have done: Wheels (obviously). The tires are virtually new Vogue \"mustard and mayo\" tyres 235/70R15 (stock size).While I had it, I had the radio completely rebuilt as well as the power antenna. I installed a period correct Delco dealer option 10 CD changer in the trunk. I completely rebuilt the suspension and front end components (something many people ignore/overlook). This includes new brakes, shocks, brake hoses, upper and lower Moog \"Problem Solver\" front loaded (with ball joints and bushings) control arms, Moog: idler arm, center link, tie rod ends and coupling sleeves, and steering damper.
I also installed a new ACDelco fuel pump and sending unit, new coil and ignition module, new ACDelco cap and rotor, new ACDelco water pump, flushed the cooling system and generally got all the electrical options in working order. Most were working of course, but there are always a few subtle things to take care of that most people ignore or do not even notice.
You will notice that a few typical problem areas are NOT a problem on this car: The driver\'s seat controls have not caused any tearing in the vinyl. The B-pillar felt covering is not worn or torn. You may notice on the report a \"minor accident\". There was no damage to THIS vehicle. Also, there have been only 4 owners as the two prior to me traded the car back and forth a couple of times. So, I am actually the 4th owner. Inspections BEFORE the auction ends are welcome.
This car has spent most winters in Arizona or stored in a garage when the owners wintered in AZ, so it has not been winter driven in the Midwest. The vinyl top and weather stripping is still spongy soft and supple. The interior is immaculate, except typically cracking in the dash around the defroster grille. The original gold paint (as you can see in pictures) takes on dramatically different tones in varying lighting situations.
