GRAND PRIX SE

3800 SERIES II

100% RUST FREE

ONE 44K ORIGINAL MILES

Here\'s a really unique find, this Pontiac Grand Prix SE is not only a really low original mile one owner car that is 100% corrosion free but it comes in a very uncommon color combination of Dark Mulberry Metallic over a Taupe deluxe velour/cloth interior which is just striking in appearance. This color was produced only in 1997 and 1998 and out of the 269,974 total Grand Prix\'s produced in all forms as either a base, SE, GT or GTP both 2 or four door models only 4,697 were produced in this exterior color (not known how many with Taupeinterior) making it the third rarest color to find on a Pontiac Grand Prix of any year or any configuration (according to my extensive research). Now, not only is this car uncommon, it has a lot going for it. It\'s a one owner 44k mile California car, it is all stock with absolutely no modifications. Aside from adealer installed ignition security lock, the car has no aftermarket electronics, no \'performance\' parts, no big wheels or loud exhaust setups or anything else besides what it was delivered with. It doesn\'t even have any aftermarket window tinting. Add the fact that it is a non smoker (it literally smells brand newinside) and it is very complete with all owners books, floor mats, cargo net, keys and remotes, this is a truly special car. It has a squeaky clean CarFax and nice service history also. The pictures tell the story, please take the time toreview the 100+ full sized high resolution photos below including several of the spotless undercarriage that proves there is absolutely zero corrosion anywhere and the car has never been damaged.

The body of this Grand prix is really nice. Of course it is notbrand new so you can expect a few blemishes. There was a scuff on the front leftside of the front bumper that I had airbrushed and a small scratch on the lower front passenger door that I also had touched in making them really not noticeable from a few feet away, the paint is all shiny and glossy with no majordings, dents or scratches anywhere on the car. Glass is excellent, crystal clear all the way around. Tires have 75% or better at all four corners and I have never seen factory alloys in this nice of shape, they look great. All lights andlenses are intact, the rears have the same condensation problem that EVERY GrandPrix from this era has where they cloud up on the inside If you are super picky you can pick up a set of them here on Ebay for about $150.00 but these ones are fully functional and do dry out if they are not exposed to any humidity for a shortperiod of time. All lighting is fully operational including the fog lamps. You will also notice I have depicted that every panel has it\'s correct VIN# sticker proving the originality of the car. Also worth mentioning is that there are no warning lights on in the dash.

The interior of this car is like brand new. Period. It literally shows hardly any wear at all and it smells like it did on the showroom floor. I don\'t think that anyone sat in any of the seats aside from the driver\'s seat andthat one was likely occupied by a 90lb lady as it shows virtually no wear, eventhe grain on the leather steering wheel is as new, I\'ve never seen anything like it. I have not even detailed the inside of this car, I just wiped it down with adamp towel and vacuumed it. Dash, door panels, carpets, headliner, visors and console are all absolutely mint. All features, gauges, windows, locks, driver\'s side power seat, etc are functional. One of the keyless entry remotes may need a battery orreprogramming, that\'s the only thing I can even try to fault the car for.

As you can imagine, a car with this low of mileage and kept this nice drives every bit as good as it looks. Engine appears to be devoid of any leaks, it starts quickly, runs smoothly and is very powerful. This is the engineto have, the 3800 Series II is nearly \'bulletproof\' if cared for and is favored over the 3100 series engines. I have had these traded in with well over 200k miles on the original engines many times in my history and they just keep going. Transmission shifts properly and the fluid is nice and clean with the correct light pink color. This GP has the \'wide-trac\' body style and it handles beautifully, it is a very fun car to drive.

Now, we all know that the SE model isn\'t the \'holy-grail\' of Pontiac Grand Prix cars but take into consideration the colors, options, historyand how complete the car is along with it\'s impeccable corrosion free condition and this is atruly special car to drive or put away for future consideration. This car is probably worth much more than the $5950 I am asking but I may entertain reasonable offers from real buyers. As always I am happy to assist with transport or provide free airport pickup and I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. Please call me at (602)315-4055 with any questions. For CA buyers, the car has current tags to MAY/17 and both front/rear original plates are included. Thanks for looking at my Grand Prix.
