Nearly everything on this car is new. New top, new paint, brakes, wheels, tires, engine, transmission, clutch, driveshaft, entire rear end, axles, exhaust, computer, wiring. It isn\'t a new car, but it isn\'t far off!The Tyrant is a mean bird, a 1998 Trans Am WS6 convertible that has attitude. It has been featured in multiple magazines. It was built by the well-known and meticulously operated Lashway Motorsports of Pompano Beach, FL. I cannot say enough about the quality of their work.
It was built to be very streetable, and could make much more power with a more aggressive cam, but it\'s perfect just as is because it\'s still perfectly streetable. 98k on chassis. Runs super strong, reliable, and cool. I drove it 900 miles in one day. It will go anywhere, no issues.
BEFORE the build it made a measly 341rwhp/302rwtq.......
AFTER the build, it made 541rwhp/471rwtq conservatively NA on a mustang dyno with a stock LS7 intake, mild cam and 90mm TB!
Car made 610rwhp and 615rwtq on 100 shot and mild timing.
660rwhp and 680 lb-ft of torque on a 150 shot!
I have personally never opened the nitrous bottle, there is no need to on the street. It was opened for tuning and once on track by builder, that\'s it. I have never tracked the car, i have personally never even been to a drag strip as funny as that sounds. The only burnout done in this car was done for the magazine shoot. NA dyno pull of Mosler (maker of the MT900) built, balanced, blueprinted LS7 Motor that made 620 hp and 587 tq on the engine dyno.
Not only was this engine insanely expensive, it\'s probably impossible to get one from TEC because they make them for Mosler but there was a special connection involved.

Nitrous Express Wet Plate system, 150 HP jetting, 10lb bottle, custom lines, larger noids.
Nitrous Outlet Switch controls hidden in center console inside the ash tray. (very nice, clean, hidden)
Nitrous is activated when switches are live and RPM window switch is activated. Car is perfectly and safely tuned for it. It has not even been close to emptying the first tank yet. It was basically used on dyno, totally unneeded on street.
Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump in trunk for the juice
Meziere electric water pump (frees HP, nice clean look too)

PPG Lamborghini pearl black by Superior Auto Design painted when car was torn down for the build. Shaved emblems. Custom Tyrant logos. Added a lower front lip later down the road (not shown in some of these pics) but the lip now has a few paint chips taken off sadly. I bought some carbon fiber wrap I was going to just wrap it and be done with it, will include with sale.

Sound:
It has aftermarket head double din unit/amp/sub/speakers/etc but I really couldn\'t care less about that, the exhaust is the only thing you want to hear when driving this thing. Not a cheap setup.
Tuning:
Enhanced Speed Density tune by Josh Isaacs @ Lashway
98 TO 02 PCM swap (re-pinned of course) with functional gauges (on shorter street tires the speedo is reading too fast) The tune is BEAUTIFUL on this car. Zero drivability issues with the tune, no problems with WOT, throttle let-off, AC on and off at idle, no problems at all. Sometimes on hot starts I have to give it a touch of the gas pedal to start it.
Passenger window goes up slower than driver window, not sure why. Small rip on driver seat stitching seam.Warning: This vehicle may cause an unsafe rise in blood pressure Details and small print:
