For sale is my 2003 Dodge SRT4. This is a very clean car with only 26,000 original miles on it. Always garage kept and never driven in the winter (no salty roads). Saw very little rain. It is prepped for track racing and about 1/3 of the miles are track miles. Otherwise it was driving to or from the track and taken on an occasional spin.

It has some minor cosmetic damage from stones but it is super, super clean underneath.Absolutely no sign of rust anywhere! There is a small dig on the rear facia above thelicense plate. I was told this was from a garage door closing on it. Also, the original owner told me that a drunk on the freeway hadgrazed the driver\'s side door and wrinkled it. The owner had a good relationship with his home town insurance company and theylet him do the repair work himself. It got a brand new OEM door and everything looks great. The only way you could tell is thatthe paint on the hardware attaching the door is worn off. You\'ll see the VIN report says something about a collision with a signwhich might be related to this or the ding from the garage door closing on it. I never heard anything about hitting a sign andcan\'t see any issues on the car.

I am the second owner. The original owner worked at Chrysler in the group that developed the official Mopar Performance Stage 1,2 and 3 packages for the SRT4. Fun trivia fact = it was the first SRT4 ever in Michigan! In addition to the car I also have tons of upgrade parts and spares including 3 sets of 17\" SSR wheels (as pictured) and 2 sets of lightweight racing wheels.

Current Setup:

Stage 2+ with Turbo Toys

Custom Flash on the Stage 2 ECU tuned on the chassis dyno at Chrysler Tech Center in Auburn Hills

(Makes great power throughout the band, but is setup a little conservatively to keep all it\'s working bits inside!)

SSR anthracite 17\" wheels with 225/45 X 17 Michelin tires for street driving

Mopar Cat-Back exhaust (Borla) with cat delete pipe (sounds wonderful!)

AIS large front mount intercooler (from the Stage 3 kit)

Alcohol cooling spray unit for intercooler (nozzles and tubing not currently fitted but included)

Tubular bumper beam support to protect intercooler

Front and rear adjustable camber plates

Mopar Stage 3 adjustable coil over suspension

Limited slip differential

Upgraded sway bars

Front and rear shock tower braces

6 disc CD changer

Mopar short throw shifter

Extras:

I have a Stage 3 kit including an even larger turbo with ECU, fuel rail, clutch, etc. still in the box, all the original production parts (minus OEM wheels and sway bars), and enough spare parts to run a small race team (I have a ton of stuff!). I have 2 new spare rotors, lots of brake pads and brake parts, various diameter sway bars, replacement gaskets, extra chrome lug nuts and center caps for the SSR wheels, suspension bushings, the stock turbo and smaller intercooler, and enough mobil 1 for an oil change.I have removed the rear spoiler to save drag (and I preferred the look) but I still have it. Also have a nice carbon front air dam that I have never fitted. There are also misc. custom bits fitted to improve aero and a custom made heat shield around the turbo. Just for fun there are also a number of pre-production parts fitted such as the air box which does not have a little dimple that was later added in production to conform with assembly clearance tolerances. One of the headlights has \"TEST\" written on it in white china marker. Goofy I know - but kinda cool!

This car is clean, quick and fun! The Stage 2 ECU has a feature (when selected) called \"Boost Hold\" that governs the turbo spool to maintain boost while you work up the gears. Here\'s how to engage it:

1. Flip the boost selector wheel on the Turbo Toys counsel to \"2\"

2. Shift to 1st gear and launch.

3. Keep the gas pedal pegged to the floor and shift at redline

The governor function prevents RPM overrun when you push in the clutch while the gas is pegged but it doesn\'t let the engine wind down, thus keeping boost levels up. At current setup it makes 22lbs. It\'s a pretty good time getting rubber in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th! Having said that, I never took the car to a drag strip. It always ran closed course stuff without the shock of launching from a dead stop.

I basically have the perfect track day starter kit. I would prefer not to piece everything out and would rather sell it all as a bundle to someone who wants to get into the hobby. 5 years after purchasing the car, a house, a marriage and 2 kids later I find it has become a garage queen. It should be running (and catching mustangs around the track) instead of sitting!
