Since purchasing my XLR, I have entrusted one of the few Cadillac dealers that still employs XLR-Certified mechanics to service it. It is always serviced by them in accordance with XLR specs and recommendations.
(Yes, Cadillac dealers have Cadillac-Certified mechanics. But only a few have Cadillac XLR-Certified mechanics.
There IS a difference!)
