Four-doorconvertible are a rare sight on todays roads, with most automobile manufacturesnot offering this layout, this 2005 Cadillac Sedan DeVille Convertible breaksthe trend! This Sedan DeVille was converted into a fully powered convertibletop. Making the Cadillac a very unique four-door convertible.
Dressedin a clean white exterior, the car’s paint and trim are in excellent overallcondition, with some minor visible road wear. One scratch on topright rear quarter no dings or dents on either side of car. The car’s lights, including the then-latest interpretation of theCadillac-slender taillights are in fantastic condition. The car’s bodywork issolid and straight, its integrated bumpers fit well to the body. The custommade tan power-folding top is in good order, with some wear and tears showing.
Thecar’s tan leather interior is in overall excellent shape. The front bucket andrear bench seats look great, as does the matching carpet. The digitalinstrument panel with its swaths of woodgrain appliqués for added warmth andinner door panels with their similar treatment that echoes the dash, are all ingreat shape. The center console mirror the rest of the interior’s condition,even the glovebox light still works and opening the door reveals the tractioncontrol and parking valet control buttons. Completing the interior is a factoryBose AM/FM stereo with CD player and compact disc player in the glovebox radioincludes lifetime XM/Sirius.
Under the hood is Cadillac’s Northstar V8engine, which caused a sensation when it was introduced in the early 1990s.Here, it displaces 4.6L, has 32 valves, double-overhead cams, variable valvetiming andsequential fuel injection (code L37). This Northstar versiongenerates 300 horsepower and 295 pounds-feet of torque. Backing the motor isGM’s 4T80-E four-speed electronic automatic transmission and a 3.71differential. As with almost any modern Cadillac, this car is replete withconvenience and safety features. It has automatic climate control, cruisecontrol, Magnasteer* power steering, tilt steering column, power four-wheeldisc brakes with Bosch anti-lock, power windows, power locks, power mirrors,power antenna, power front seats, front seater heaters, electrochromicday/night rearview mirror and “Rainsense” windshield wipers.
