2006 Dodge Magnum 5.7L V8. This car is currently registered and is on the road. I use it a few time a week. I am the original owner and have the maintained since new. Car runs and drive but need a few maintenance items .This car is perfect for someone who is mechanically inclined and is looking for a good deal. Book Valve is 6 to 8K in great condition which with a little work this car will be in again. Just throw plates on it and drive her home. I have no doubt this magnum will give you many years of pleasure.The Good.
1. 340 HP (253.5 kW) and 390 lb⋅ft (529 N⋅m) Magnum R/T Hemi 5.7L V8 -- Engine is strong and runs like new. No misses or stalls
2. New Front Brake ( They have less than 100 miles on them. Still breaking them in (Slight Squeeling sometimes)
3. Like New tires ( less than 1000 miles on them)
4. New Cooling system ( Radiator, 2 Cooling Fans, and Fan wire Harness
5. New Battery (Less than 2 week old)
6. Curt Tow Hitch installed.
The not so Bad
1. Engine does have 1 valve cover leak which drips onto the right exhaust header ( smokes sometime)
2. Transmission has a slight shutter sometime in overdrive under load (common for these cars). Since car has a auto stick I keep it in 4th and it tend to be not noticable.
3. The car starter is at the end of its life. When car is cold it will start no problem. Once driven for a few and the starter becomes ( HEAT SUNK) it is a 50/50 chance it will start ( Common with dodge\'s) I use the car to go to work some days. I just leave it running if i got to stop for coffee. After i get out of work it starts no issue. Engine is strong and idles perfectly so no chance of stalling.
