This is a 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. It has been a reliable daily driver and family hauler for 4 years, and now my wife says it\'s time to move on to an SUV for our expanding family. It drives great, is one of the most fun family haulers (2 car seats in the back) I\'ve ever driven, and it makes no sacrifices for reliability...even with all of the mods listed below. In fact just a year ago we drove this from PA to FL during our move. Sure the gas mileage isn\'t great, averaging around 13mpg or so, but that isn\'t a reason not to drive this great car. It has the panoramic sliding sunroof and premium sound system with hard drive. Standard seats. 4 NEW TIRES with less than 500 miles on them. Clear and clean title. As you can see in the pictures the car has painted black wheels and trim to give it a more aggressive look. Here are the notable mechanical mods:
- Custom Cam- Custom Supercharger Pulley (+4 psi boost)- Cold Air Intake/Filter- Custom Exhaust (B&B to stock mufflers with QTP electric cutouts)- Injector Dynamics ID850 Fuel Injectors- Conservatively Dyno Tuned to 578RWHP/TQCosmetically the car is in pretty good shape overall but does show some wear and tear since it is driven regularly (77,971 miles). Mostly just minor nicks and scratches from the road. There is a 1-2\" scratch on the front bumper where someone lightly tapped it in a parking lot -- we reported it (so it does show on a Carfax) but no repair was necessary except some touch-up paint which I have but not applied. Two of the wheels were scratched from a car wash so I did a quick touch-up to them. No tears or other major wear in the interior, just minor scuffs and such. The sunroof works fine and does not leak. Typical minor, random rattles like every other GM vehicle I\'ve owned including multiple Corvettes. Mechanically the car drives great. The cam and pulley were done before I got the car, nearly 50k miles ago. Two years/20k miles ago I had the car gone over at Race Proven Motorsports in Delaware and they changed the spark plugs, injectors, exhaust (stock with welded cut-outs instead of B&B mufflers, got tired of the drone) and a re-tune. The cam is more aggressive than stock and definitely has more \"lope\" at idle but not enough to shake the car...just enough for people to know it\'s not stock. A lot of \"wow that\'s a Cadillac!?\" comments over the years. Side affects of this are more noticeable valve train noise and the occasional hard shift from the auto transmission. No rear differential issues (more common on Gen1 CTS-Vs). All proper maintenance and fluid changes. The rear shocks were replaced about 15k miles ago and do not leak (common issue). I just replaced all 4 tires with new Firehawk Indy 500s.
Thank you for looking! Please feel free to ask questions. I am located in Lutz, FL just north of Tampa but I have had pretty good experiences shipping cars over the years -- it usually runs around $650 or so. Local buyers are welcome to check it out. No trade offers please.
