Underneath the beautiful new style of the 1968 Sting Ray are some mighty solid reasons why Corvette is considered to be one of the best engineered cars in the world. This 427 big block has a domed hood for additional engine clearance with twin stimulated vents and “427” emblems on either side of the dome. (only used in 1968 & 1969). Side-mounted exhaust pipes were added by previous ownership as a Custom feature.
